Homestead Elementary School runs a Parent-Teacher-Community Organization (PTCO) which is made up of all residents of the Homestead School attendance area, parents and guardians of students who have open-enrolled and the school staff. With the belief that parental involvement is critical to a child’s educational future, PTCO promotes strong relations among parents, teachers, community and school officials. In addition, PTCO provides financial support for school programs and equipment, implements programs to support curricula, and assists in attaining the highest level of education and welfare for all students.
